Flow – the art of fluid, easy living

You like to savor a good meal, a nice glass of wine and good conversation. Occasionally you fit in exercise or yoga, steal a few lines from a fun book and take a quick trip to the beach, but you never really seem to unwind.

You’re constantly connected to your phone and work, the kids are craving your attention as you run around to all of their activities and when you find a moment of quiet, you just want to zone out and watch some television and maybe eat some ice cream.

You don’t have time to make a spiritual trek to Bali but you would welcome some peace.

I’ve so been where you are right now. And I have good news. You don’t have to go to an ashram in India to achieve the state of calm and happiness that you’re craving.

You can get balanced, re-centered and connected to your soul anytime, anywhere.

The key to balance is different for everyone because what makes our hearts sing is as diverse as the many species of wildlife on this planet. When we try to be everything to everyone and live up to all of society’s standards that we accept without question (latest fashions, respectable career, cute and well-behaved kids, well-manicured lawn, amazing vacations, fundraisers, galas, church, community involvement, and the list goes on and on), we will always come up short. Short of breath, short of time, short of patience, short of life.

Living into your truth, accepting yourself as you are, finding what brings you joy and happiness and taking time to truly experience this amazing life in each given moment takes courage. But you have it in you. And you are so worth it.

Sick and tired of being sick and tired?

One of the best ways to begin to live in the present is to meditate. I used to think that I couldn’t turn off my mind and the few meditations I tried just didn’t seem to work. After a ton of trial and error and learning more ways to meditate than I thought was possible, I started teaching group and private meditation classes. I’ll introduce you to the various ways to meditate and help create a practice that works for you. You can sign up for a class HERE.
